Newfoundland, Carbonear, To Wit
I, James Rowe of the Town of Carbonear in the Electoral District of
Carbonear, Bay de Verde in the Island of Newfoundland, being of sound Mind,
Memory and Understanding do make my last will and testament, in form and
manner following:
First... I give, devise
and bequeath, to my daughter, Mary Anne Dinn for her kindness in looking
after me in my illness, all of my property located off of the New Road,
in the above said town, viz. my dwelling house, barn, cellar and land,
and bounded as follows: On the North by John Harrington's property, on
the East by George Rumson's property, on the West and East by the late
Wm. Rowe's property, on the North by Edward P. Gaff formerly known as Maddock's
property. Also all of my furniture, household goods of what kind
soever, the same to be at the time of my death.
Second... I hereby appoint
my daughter, the above said Mary Anne Dinn, Executrix of this my last will
and testament. In witness whereof, I, James Rowe, this testator have
as this my last will and testament set my hand and my seal this twenty
seventh day of May in this year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty
three. (1933).
