In re JAMES JOY. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I James Joy of Harbor Main in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland, fisherman, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, but being of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following, viz- First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Joy as long as she remains in my name, all my land and houses. I also give and bequeath unto my two sons John Joy and James Joy, after the death or c hange of name of my beloved wife, Elizabeth Joy, all my land to be equally divided between them. I also give and bequeath unto my said son John Joy, after the death or change of name of my beloved wife Elizabeth Joy, my dwelling house. I hereby appoint Charles Furey sole executor of this my last will and testament.In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
