In re JAMES CUMMINS: DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I James Cummins of Northern Bay R.C. clergyman do make and ordain this my last will and testament. I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved brother John cummins one half of my estate after my lawful debts shall have been paid by my executor, I give and bequeath the other half of my estate after paying my lawful debts for the purpose of having the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated for the repose of my soul. I appoint the Rev. W. Veitch executor to this my last will and testament which I hereby ratify to be my last will and testament Witness my hand this 29th day of July A.D. 1875 (the word “half” before “of my estate” having been interlined)J.
