Will of Henry Penny

In the Name of God Amen, this is the last Will and Testament of Henry Penny. I do will and bequeath to Ann Penny my wife, half the chooner Adilade too pants a cl? a pew in the Carbonear Weslian Chaple and every other movable article belonging to me with the exception of one small gun for Jacob Brite.

I hereby certify that the execution of the Will of which the foregoing is a true and correct copy by the Testator Henry Penny was proven before myself on the fifth day of June, one thousand, eight hundred and forty four by the Affidavit of Richard Powell, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and the same is hereby actually registered by me this day. Given under my hand the fourth day of July , one thousand eight hundred and forty four AD 1844.
