Will of Henry Wells

In re: HENRY WELLS. DECEASED.

I Henry Wells of the Gullies near Brigus Conception Bay Newfoundland being of sound and disposing mind do hereby declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

1. I hereby appoint William J. Spracklin as sole executor of my Will.

2. To my dear wife Matilda Wells I give devise and bequeath the whole of my estate both personal and real, consisting of my land situate at the Gullies aforesaid, in all about eighteen acres, all the timber standing on the said land at the time of my death, my dwelling house and outhouses situate on the said land, and my personal effects consisting of household furniture and household effects, also whatever livestock I may have at the time of my death.

3. To each of my grandchildren I wish the sum of one dollar to be given out of whatever money may be left at the death of my dear wife the said Matilda Wells, but to my daughter Fanny’s eldest child I wish the sum of five dollars to be given at the time of my wife’s death.

In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and seal this 6th day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and ten HENRY WELLS
