In re: HENRY P. ROBERTS. DECEASED After the death of my wife the above named Dwelling House also my part of south end of the dwelling house together with my part of Cabbage garden and brook garden to become the property of my two sons namely Thomas Roberts and Moses Percy Roberts. I also give and bequeath to my two sons Thomas Roberts and Moses Percy Roberts all the rest of the land now held by me unless any of it should be previously disposed of and to be amicably settled between them namely the Dwelling House on Middle Ridge and garden attached Also the strip of waterside land near the long bridge with cooperage and stable thereon Also a piece of water side about Twenty Two feet wide adjoining the property of Mr F. Jerrett. Also the store stables and outhouses with back yard in connection with said Dwelling House. Also a strip of meadow land back of said Dwelling House also the stable garden near by Also two pieces of ground situated near the Cupids road better known as Piddles garden and Cupids garden. Also a piece of land in from Cupids road and bounded by George Meadows property. Also a piece of undivided land in to English Town at present in the occupancy of Thomas F. Roberts, all the above mentioned to become the property of my two sons namely Thomas Roberts and Moses Percy Roberts and their Heirs I also give to my son Moses Percy Roberts the Pew in the Methodist church occupied by me. Also all the Tools in connection with ship work that is Hatchets adzes mauls augurs crowbars cramp grindstone and all implements connected with said ship work. Also all the tools in connection with farming work all to be at his own disposal. By this Codicil to my will above signed I hereby give and bequeath unto my son Moses Percy Roberts the Dwelling house in which I now reside that is after the death of my wife Eliza Roberts she to remain in said House during the time of her natural life. I also give and bequeath to my son Moses Percy Roberts the strip of water side property near the long bridge with cooperage and stables thereon Also the work shop near the above mentioned dwelling house with cellar underneath and all the land situated at the Back of said Dwelling House including a long strip of meadow land and stables with a small garden back of said stables. Also half the kitchen garden occupied by me and my interest in the lower part of Cabbage garden also my interest in the well garden and my interest in the south end of Dwelling house between me and my two sisters my son Thomas Roberts having left Newfoundland and settled in Vancouver and the above mentioned property being given to my two sons part of which I now revoke and bequeath to my son Moses Percy Roberts he living in Brigus and is attending to the wants of me and his mother I have added this Codicil and given him the above mentioned property to be his and his heirs Signed and declared by the said Henry P. Roberts the Testator as a Codicil to his last will and Testament in the presence of us and in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses at Brigus aforesaid on the Twenty first day of June In the year of our Lord one Thousand nine Hundred and nine Henry P.
