In the name of God Amen, I Grace Antle, wife of John Antle of Brigus in the Island of Newfoundland Planter, being weak in body but of sound mind and memory do by and with the consent of my said husband testified by his signing and sealing hereof make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my son James Norman a new cloak which came out to me this summer from England and also the sum of fifty pounds sterling. The remainder of my money lying in the hands of Mr. Joseph Gundry of Bridport England I give and bequeath between my son John Norman and my two daughters Susan the wife of John Pearcey and Mary the wife of William Bartlett to be equally divided between them. I also give unto my grand daughter Tabitha Pearcey nine yards of silk to make her a gown and one cotton gown and also one luster Gown, one pair of stays One calamance Quilted petticoat one Black Satin Bonnet One of my muslin aprons and also a sufficient quantity of calamance to make her a petticoat out of what I have in house and one red Bambazett Petticoat. I also give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Rebecca Pearcey One outside petticoat and to my granddaughter Grace Pearcey I give one petticoat and one shawl, the rest of my wearing apparel I desire shall be equally divided between my two daughters Susan and Mary. And lastly I do hereby appoint my friend Charles Cozens of Brigus aforesaid Merchant and John Gushue of the same place Planter, executors of this my last will and testament to see the same carried into effect. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this twenty seventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
