In re GEORGE STAFFORD HOWELL. DECEASED. This is the last Will and Testament of me George Stafford Howell of Carbonear. I give, devise, and bequeath to my wife Jane Howell all my property situate on the Hearts Content Road in the District of Carbonear, consisting of Lands, with the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging, household furniture of every description and cattle, and also all money of which I may die possessed for her sole use and behoof during the term of her natural life or so long as she shall remain a widow and live in Carbonear. And such money my executors will hold in trust for her and will pay to her such amount or amounts quarterly or half-yearly as in their judgment shall appear reasonable and expedient and sufficient for her maintenance and support in the same style and comfort as we have live in during our married life, and if upon her decease or remarriage any of said money shall be unexpended my executors shall divide such unexpended sum equally between my children.And it is my wish if there shall not be sufficient money to support and maintain my said wife as aforesaid then my son Hubert shall support and maintain my said wife in manner aforesaid during her lifetime or widowhood or during her residence in Signed, published and declared by the Testator George Stafford Howell, as and for his last Will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
