Will of George Gushue
Last Will and Testament of George Gushue of Brigus, Gentleman - This is my last will and testament. I give all my property to my wife, Jane Gushue, to do with as she may seem best, to pay all my lawful debts, whatever may be remaining is for her own sole use to do with as she may think best, and I pray God that all my children may dwell together in unity and help their Mother in every way that may be for her advantage, and their own good also. Signed by George Gushue (legal signature), Brigus, February 12th, 1887; witnessed by John George Duncan and William A. Green. A marginal note reads "Granted to Jane Gushue dated February 11, 1895; estate sworn under $600.00." |
