George Morgan deceased


In the name of God Amen:- I George Morgan of Blow Me Down in the District of Port de Grave, Newfoundland do hereby make and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills and deeds by me made I give and bequeath to my grandson John Mark Morgan son of my son John Thomas, the west end of my dwelling house also the west half of kitchen garden in front of house inside of public road, also one-third of kitchen garden outside public road his share to come off the west end of same garden, also the west potato garden on the back. I give and bequeath to my grandson George (?)Hyod Morgan son of my son John Thomas East end of my dwelling house, also the East half of kitchen garden in front of house inside public road, also two-thirds of kitchen garden outside public road, also the East potato garden on the back and the Hill garden on the back and also the garden known as the farm on the back. I give and bequeath to my two grandsons as named above my store, my cellar, my stable, my stage and my flake and all other property I possess not mentioned to be equally divided between them, when they come of age, and also all property mentioned is to be theirs when they come of age, but in case one of them should die, their brother William Bramwell Morgan comes into his deceased brothers share, [providing he dies before he comes of age,] in the event of any two of them dying one takes at all, unless my son John Thomas has another son or two to take it, but in the event of all my grandsons, that are sons of my son John Thomas not living to come of age I leave all property as aforesaid to my son John Thomas to do as he likes with it. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son John Thomas Morgan Executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Testator have to this my last will and testament put my hand and seal this twenty second day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve George and his X mark Morgan. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator George Morgan as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses this twenty second day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
