Will of Fred Wilcox from Newfoundland will books volume 10 page 467 probate year 1916.

NOTE: Fred Wilcox served in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, Reg’t # 707 Pte. He died on 1 July 1916.

 
 In re
    FRED WILCOX      deceased.

    I Fred Wilcox of Brigus, District of Port de Grave, Newfoundland, Volunteer of the First Newfoundland Regiment, do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows:-
    First, I give and bequeath to my father John M. Wilcox all monies on deposit in the Bank of Montreal at Grand Falls, or elsewhere.
    Second I give and bequeath to my father John M. Wilcox all monies payable under my two Life Insurance policies, namely, one in Canada Life and the other in the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company.
    Third I give and bequeath to my father John M. Wilcox my three shares in the Fox Farm of the Exploits River Black Fox Company; also Five shares in the Grand Falls Skating Rink; and all monies due me from all Societies with which I am connected or that may be due me from any and every source whatsoever.
    Fourth I hereby appoint John M. Wilcox sole executor of this my last will and testament.     In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand at Brigus Nfld this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.     Fred Wilcox     Signed published and declared by the said testator Fred Wilcox as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who here subscribe our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator.     Joseph Bartlett.     Jabez B.
