Will of Frederick LeGrow

In re: FREDERICK LEGROW. DECEASED.

I, Frederick LeGrow of Nicholas of Broad Cove, District of Bay-De-Verde, in the Island of Newfoundland, do publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say:-

1. I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mahala LeGrow, my dwelling house and furniture therein, barn and store together with all my land [except as otherwise disposed of in succeeding sections] to be her property while she lives and, at her death to become the property of my niece Sarah [Sadie] LeGrow daughter of my brother Thomas.

2. I give devise and bequeath to my wife aforesaid, after paying my just debts, the stock in connection with my business; also, all money that I possess [except as elsewhere in this will disposed of] also the piece of pasture land, situated at what is locally known as "Valley Road". 3. I give devise and bequeath to my niece Sarah as above designated my parlour organ; also the furniture including bed and bedding in the bed-room occupied by her in my said dwelling house; also the sum of fifty dollars. And, lastly, I hereby constitute my said wife, Mahala LeGrow to be the executrix of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of August one thousand nine hundred and ten. Frederick his X mark LeGrow. Signed, published and declared by the above Frederick LeGrow as his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request have signed as witnesses of the same, it being first read over and explained to him. Witnesses Charles House. Andrew Vatcher.
