Esther McKie deceased.

In the name of God Amen. I Esther McKie of Bay Bulls Widow now in perfect health of body and sound in mind do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say First and principally I give and recommend my soul unto Almighty God whenever it is his will to call on me, and then my body to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executrix nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the Almighty power of God And as touching such worldly estate as God has blessed me with in this life, I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner, I give and bequeath unto my beloved niece Mary M. Getheral all my estate willed to me by my late husband John L. McKie, namely my house and furniture and all my landed property to be hers, her heirs executors administrators or assigns for ever without any molestation interruption or denial from any other person or persons claiming or pretending to claim a right thereto. In testimony whereof I hereunto put my hand and seal at Bay Bulls this twentieth day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine.
