          Edward Kelly deceased.

Know all men by these presents that I Edward Kelly Farmer of the River Head of Harbor Grace being of sound mind and in the full possession of all my mental faculties do hereby declare my last will and testament To my lawful wife Margaret Kelley I bequeath the dwelling house with land on which it is situated bounded on the north by Cooper Corner Road east by the property of Mrs. Hennessey south by property of William Yetman and Patrick Coady, west by the property of Patrick Coady and James Russell. Together with all the farm stock consisting of horse, slide, sleigh, cart, carriage and harness. Also my cattle, cows and sheep and all other cattle on my farm untill her decease.     After the decease of my wife Margaret Kelly: the said House and the ground on which it is situated to come into the possession of my granddaughter Ellen Margaret Sullivan her heirs administrators and assigns for ever.     Also to my lawful wife Margaret Kelly that piece of land bounded on the south by southern Brook, after her decease to come into the possession of my grandson Edward Sullivan, his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever- Also to my lawful wife Margaret Kelley that piece of land bounded on the north by Fishermans Road after her decease to come into the possession of my grandson Maurice Sullivan his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever.     Also to my lawful wife Margaret Kelley that piece of land commonly called the Commons after her decease half to come into the possession of my grand daughter Ellen Margaret Sullivan her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever.     Also the other half of the said piece of land to come into the possession of my son-in-law Jeremiah Sullivan, his heirs, executors and administrators for ever, Also to my lawful wife Margaret Kelley the house and ground situated in Harbor Grace bounded North by Harvey Street East by property of George Rutherford, west and south by the property of Robert and Maurice Colbert, after her decease to come in to the possession of my grand daughter Ellen Margaret Sullivan her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever Also to my daughter Johanna Sullivan the sum of one shilling stg
That I Edward Kelley do hereby declare this my last will and testament being at the time of the drawing out of the said will in the possession of both sound mind and in possession of my faculties.     I hereby do constitute John J. Stafford and Joseph Stapleto to be my executors to the sole execution of this my last will and testament.     Edward his X mark Kelley.     Signed and delivered in presence of Joseph Stapleton and Robert Colbert and John J. Strafford, being first read and explained before being signed and delivered, witness Robert Colbert, Joseph Stapleton.     John J. Strafford.     Given under our hand this 2nd day of March at 2 o’clock P.M. in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight A.D.
