 In re
    Charlotte Churchill     deceased.

    This is the last will and Testament of me, Charlotte Churchill (born Badcock), of Bay Roberts Newfoundland, widow:-
First. I nominate and appoint my friend, David M. Baird, Manufacturer of St. John’s, Executor of this my will.    
Second I direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid.
Third. I give and bequeath to my brother-in-law, Robert Churchill of Bay Roberts, all the land, owned by me at North Water, Bay Roberts with all buildings erected thereon, and the contents of all such buildings.
Fourth, I give and bequeath all my estate not hereby otherwise disposed of to Mary Shears, (born Harvey), to be disposed of as she may deem proper. Witness my hand at St. John’s this eight day of April, Anno Domini one Thousand nine hundred and seventeen Charlotte her X mark Churchill     Signed. Published and declared (after having been first read over and explained to her) by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament, in our presence, who, in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other (all present at the same time) have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses     Witness     M.E. Squires R.N.     E.M. Baird.
