Will of Charles Tucker

IN RE:   CHARLES TUCKER.    DECEASED

I Charles Tucker, Fisherman, of Port de Grave, Newfoundland, declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

I give and bequeath to my two sons James Tucker and Frederick Tucker, all my real and personal estate, to be divided between them as follows:-

I give and bequeath to my son James his heirs and assigns forever, the following part of my estate:-

  1. 1. The old house now occupied by Elizabeth, relict of my late son Arthur. She is to occupy it only as long as James desires. 2. The Western half of the large garden in the rear of the dwelling houses. 3. Half of the Store on the bank and half the flake. 4. Half of the fishing property situate at Braha on the French Shore as follows:- Half of the Stage, one flake, one house and half the Store.

    I give and bequeath to my son Frederick his heirs and assigns forever, the following part of my estate.

    1. 1. The eastern half of the large garden in the rear of the dwelling houses. 2. The little plant garden near Fredericks house. 3. The Workshop and its contents. 4. All that piece of land situate at the back side of Port de Grave and known as the "back side" garden. 5. All the Outhouses surrounding Fredericks house. 6. Half the fishing property situate at Braha on the French Shore as follows:- Half of the stage, one flake, one house, and half the store.

      I hereby appoint John Dawe (of Samuel) and Samuel Christopher to be the executors of this my will.

      I hereby revoke all other wills made by me at any time heretofore.

      In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of November one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

      Signed sealed and delivered by the said Charles Tucker as for his last will & testament. In the presence of us present at the same time at his request. In his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witness as to the due execution thereof.
