    Bridget O’Rourke     deceased.

    In the name of God Amen This is the last will and testament of me Bridget O’Rourke, the wife of James O’Rourke Fisherman and Carpenter of Holyrood Electoral District of Harbor Main Newfoundland, being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding     I give all the real and personal estate of which by virtue of my power or authority or of any separate right of property or otherwise I am competent to dispose unto my husband James O’Rourke and my three sons John, Francis and James O’Rourke absolutely forever. The property hereby given and disposed consists of all my right title and interest in the property and estate of James Boland deceased and situate at the Main Beach Holyrood namely that piece of land adjacent to Barrens Road occupied and cultivated by me for almost ten years and upon which my dwelling House and Cellar now stand
I will order and appoint Twenty Dollars in Requiem Masses for the repose of my soul. I appoint R. Dwyer J.P. executor of my will -     In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this seventh day of February A.D. 1917. - Bridget her X mark O’Rourke - Signed by the said testator as her last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Cyril J. Byrne     Richard Dwyer.
