Will of Bridget Ezekiel

In re: BRIDGET EZEKIEL. DECEASED

In the name of God Amen I Bridget Ezekiel (wife of Wm Ezekiel deceased) of Hr. Main do make this my last will and testament Being sound of mind intellect and understanding do dispose of my earthly goods and chattels in the following manner.

1st I bequeath my soul to God who created it my body to be buried in a decent Christian manner.

2nd I bequeath to my niece Ellen Hickey all my land property which I possess belonging to my Father. That is the land on the west side of Hickeys Road and the marsh on the south of Hickeys road also that piece of land known as the big Garden on the south of Hickeys road. Also that piece of land on the hill. Also my dwelling house and Cabbage garden, all my furniture and fittings beds and bedding and my cow. Also a piece of land south of Gormans pond road bounded on the N.E. by land of Paul Ezekiel on the S.W. by land of John Ezekiel (deceased) N.W. by land of Thomas Penney S.E. or S by clift. Also my land at Beaver pond, but if Beaver pond land is sold the money received for it is to be given to the parish Preist of Hr. Main for Masses for my husband my son and myself. Also I bequeath to my niece Ellen the amount now in Bank (Savings Bank Dept. of Montreal) due me to be hers and her heirs for ever also a piece of water side property measuring twenty feet which belonged to my father. Also the land ajoining my dwelling house on the northside to be hers for ever My niece Ellen to pay all my funeral expenses. I do hereby appoint Dennis Doyle and Ellen Hickey (my niece) to be my executors.
