Will of Ann Maria Tucker

In re: ANN MARIA TUCKER. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen I Ann Maria Tucker being of sound mind and memory hereby declare this to be my last will and testament revoking all former wills and deeds by me made.

I hereby request that my property in Bareneed left me by my late brother George William Richards to be sold and proceeds of the house to go to my daughter Lillian Isabel Tucker. The land also to be sold and half the proceeds of same to go to my sister Mary Elizabeth Gould now living in Sussex New Brunswick as her share of the property the other half of the proceeds of the land is to go to my daughter Jeanette Tucker after a monument is taken out of the whole proceeds of the land to mark the grave of my late brother George William. This money to go in the Savings bank till my children aforesaid come of age and not to be spent while their father can work and support them but in case of him falling ill or dying and rather than they should suffer want I leave it to the discretion of my Executor Abram Tucker my cousin and the interest of said money yearly I would like my children to have the benefit of, my other effects such as clothing furniture etc.

I give and bequeath to my children aforesaid to be equally divided between them, and I request my husband Henry Charles Tucker to act as a Guardian to my children and be fair and kind to them. In the event of one of my aforesaid children dying before they come of age I request the surviving one to have the deceased ones part. In the event of them both dying I request that my husband have it all.

In witness whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature this thirtieth day of October one thousand nine hundred and nineteen. Ann Maria her X mark Tucker. Signed sealed published and declared by said Testatrix Ann Maria Tucker as and for her last will and testament who in her presence and in the presence of each other and at her request hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses.
