Memorial of an Indenture bearing date the Twenty eighth day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirty one, whereby Ann Taylor, Widow and Administratrix of the Estate of her husband, the late Richard Taylor Junior, of Carbonear, Planter, deceased, and Joseph Taylor, the eldest son of the said Richard Taylor Junior and Administrator of the said Estate of the one part, and also William Taylor and John Taylor, sons of the deceased Richard Taylor certified by their being parties thereto, Did for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds current money of Newfoundland, to the said late Richard Taylor paid by Gosse Pack and Fryer of Carbonear, Merchants, the receipt whereof is acknowledged by the said Ann Taylor, Joseph Taylor, William Taylor and John Taylor, assign, transfer grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto the said John Gosse, Robert Pack and William Fryer, trading under the firm of Gosse Pack and Fryer -

"All that Fishing Room and Plantation situate and lying in Carbonear and bounded on the East by William Moors Taylor, on the West by Jonathan Taylor and the said Gosse Pack and Fryer on the North by a small brook and on the South by the Harbor being part of the late Richard Taylor Seniors room and Premises, and devised by him to his son, the said Richard Taylor Junior deceased together with all Houses, Outhouses, buildings, ways, watercourses, easements, profits, privileges, commodities, advantages, emoluments, heriditaments and appurtenances whatsoever, to the said Plantation and Fishing Room, messuages, lands and Premises belonging or in anywise appertaining or therewith usually held, used, occupied or enjoyed or accepted, updated, deemed, taken or known as part, parcel or member thereof, or of any part thereof "To have and to Hold unto the said Gosse Pack and Fryer, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns shall and do well and truly pay unto the said Gosse Pack and Fryer, their heirs and assigns, the full sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds Currency by instalments on the days and in the manner and form hereinafter expressed, that is to say Twelve pounds currency on the Twentieth day of October next ensuing, the date of the said presents Twelve pounds currency on the Twentieth day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirty two, when and at which time Henry Taylor, another son of the deceased Richard Taylor Junior will become of age, Sixteen pounds of currency per annum on the Twentieth day of October from and and after that period until Agnes Taylor, a Daughter of the said Richard Taylor Junior, gets married or becomes of age and Twenty pounds currency on the Twentieth day of October in each and every year from and after the said Agnes Taylor gets married or arrives at the age of twenty one years until the full and just sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds currency shall be fully paid and finally discharged then and in that case to the said Gosse Pack and Fryer agree to reassign and reassure the said Premises unto the said Ann Taylor and Joseph Taylor, their heirs and assigns, which Instrument under the hands and seals of Ann Taylor, Joseph Taylor, William Taylor and John Taylor and of Robert Pack for Gosse Pack and Fryer is witnessed by William Gosse and Joshua Green.

I hereby certify that the execution of the Instrument of which the foregoing is a Memorial was acknowledged before me by Ann Taylor, Joseph Taylor, William Taylor and John Taylor as also by Robert Pack, all parties thereto on the Twenty eighth day of January at three o'clock in the afternoon in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty one and the same is hereby actually Registered by me this day. Given under my hand at the Registrar of Deeds office, Harbor Grace, this second day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty one, 1831.
