In re: ALEXANDER KERR. DECEASED.
This is the last Will and Testament of me Alexander Kerr, of Carbonear, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, Farmer.
1. I leave and bequeath to James L. Fardy, Police Constable, his executors, Administrators and Assigns all my right title and interest in the two dwelling houses situate on the North side of Mullock Street in the town of Saint John’s, Newfoundland, also the land upon which they are built and the adjoining lands absolutely and forever. Also all rents and arrears of rent that may be due me by the tenants at the time of my decease.
2. I also leave and bequeath to the said James L. Fardy, all my right title and interest in and to the leases from me to George Cook and Joseph Halfyard for lands situated on Haywards Avenue, also any other property, monies or anything whatsoever I may die entitled too.
3. I leave and bequeath to John Evans of Saint John’s; a printer, all my right and title in the piece of land that he built a house upon situated on Haywards Avenue the same being part of a perpetual lease from John’s estate, his executors administrators and assigns,
LASTLY. I appoint James L. Fardy, Police Constable of Carbonear and James Murray, Civil Servant, of Saint John’s executor of this my Will, hereby revoking all former Wills or documentary writings hitherto made by me.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Carbonear aforesaid this Ninth day of January A.D. One thousand nine hundred and fourteen ALEXANDER KERR.
Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence who at his request in his presence and in our presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses on the day and year and place first above written.
