This is the last will and Testament of me Edmund Hiscock, of Brigus, Planter. First. I hereby revoke all Wills and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made. Second. I direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses shall be first paid out of my estate. Third. I give devise and bequeath unto my son William J. Hiscock, all my fishing-rooms, lands, buildings, stores, stages, tenements and premises situate at Holton Labrador, together with all my fishing gear including boats, salt, cod-traps and nets at Holton aforesaid or usually used in connection with that fishing room, also my schooner named "Edmund". Fourth. I give devise and bequeath unto my son John W. Hiscock all my fishing-rooms, lands tenements, buildings, stores, stages and premises situate at Comfort Bight, Hiscock Islands and American Harbor, Labrador respectively, together with all my fishing year including boats, salt, cod-traps, and nets at Comfort Bight, Hiscock Islands and American Harbor, or usually used in connection with these fishing-rooms: also my schooner "Snow Queen". Fifth. I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property to Jabez Thompson J.P. of Brigus, Stipendiary Magistrate, upon trust to pay the income thereof unto my wife Sarah Hiscock semi-annually during the period of her natural life commencing from the date of my death. Upon the death of my said wife I direct that my said Trustee shall hold the said property upon trust to be divided as follows, that is to say, to my grandson Edmund Hiscock son of William J. Hiscock, the Southern portion of my land tenements and premises situate at Brigus as the same is now marked by a series of iron bolts fixed in the ground dividing the said property. To my grandson Edmund Hiscock son of John W. Hiscock the Northern portion of my said lands tenements and premises situate at Brigus as the same is now marked by the said series of iron bolts fixed in the ground dividing the said property as aforesaid; and to such of the children of my said son's William J. Hiscock and John W. Hiscock as shall be living at the time of my said wife's death [including the said Edmund Hiscock, son of said William J. Hiscock, and Edmund Hiscock, son of said John W. Hiscock] all the residue of the said trust estate and funds to be divided equally between them, such children to take per sti(?)es and not per capita. Seventh. I appoint my sons John W. Hiscock and William J. Hiscock Executors of this my will. In witness whereof I the said Edmund Hiscock have hereunto set my hand at St. John's this thirtieth day of May Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and thirteen Edmund Hiscock Signed by the said testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
