The whole of my property situated in Bay Roberts aforesaid also a Fishing Room and Plantation situated on the south side of Harbour Grace and now under a lease for term of twenty years to Jeremiah Rouse. I give and bequeath to my son, William in consideration of which he is to allow my wife to remain in the House so long as she lives or so long as she wishes to remain and that he will also support her while she remains with him but it is my wish that she shall not bring any family or person into the House without the consent of my son. I hereby certify that the execution by Edward French, the Testator of the Will of which the foregoing is a true and correct copy was proved before me by the Oath of Edward French, a subscribing witness thereto on the seventeenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and two nine and the same is hereby actually registered by me this day.
