Mary Tucker deceased
In the name of God Amen. I Mary Tucker at present residing in Port de Grave Newfoundland being of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will & testament. In primis I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God in the hope of a joyful resurrection thro' Jesus Christ my Saviour. Item. I order that all my just debts funeral expences and charges of proving this my will be in the first place fully paid. Item I give and bequeath to Henry Tucker son of John & Grace Tucker of Port de Grave
aforesaid when he attains the age of twenty one years the sum of Five pounds, also a silver watch at present in the possession of H. J. Furneaux of Port de Grave aforesaid. Item. I give and bequeath to Henry Taylor of Port de Grave aforesaid widower all my remaining property both real and personal.
Item. I hereby constitute and appoint Thomas Martin and Robert Prowse of Port de Grave aforesaid Merchants executors of this my will hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said testator Mary Tucker have set my hand and seal hereunto the 24th day May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty eight. Mary her X mark Tucker [LS] Signed and sealed in presence of us John Jacob. G.W. Cranford.
