The petition of George Moulton of Carbonear Deputy Crown Land Surveyor

      Humbly Sheweth:

That on the 4th day of March A.D. 1895 (6?) your petitioner obtained Letters of Probate to the last will and Testament of Alice Marshall late of Carbonear widow deceased.

That the said deceased Alice Marshall in and by her said last will and Testament bequeathed to her grandson Cleophas Marks a minor certain moneys on deposit in the Harbor Grace branch of the Newfoundland Savings Bank.

That said Cleophas Marks has recently died under the age of twenty one years and unmarried. That John Marks the father of said deceased Cleophas Marks survived the deceased.

That the value of the Estate of said Ceophas Marks deceased is of the value of sixty dollars or thereabouts.

That no probate to any will nor administration to the Estate of said deceased has been applied for or granted.

Your petitioner therefore prays that administration to the Estate of said deceased may be granted to him and as in duty bound your petitioner will ever pray  & c.
