John R. Dawson deceased
This is the last will and testament of me John R. Dawson of Bay Roberts Newfoundland. My mother Margaret Dawson is to have a room in my house, and be supported by my wife or children during her life time. To my sister Catherine Dawson I leave that piece of land known as the cabbage garden bounded on the North by my property on the South by land of Thomas Dawson, on the West by land of William Dawson and on the east by the cross road. All
the rest of my property, and any interest held by me in other property such as the Walsh property I leave to my wife to be held by her in trust for my children. In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament on this tenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen subscribed my name. John R. Dawson.
