Connelly of Harbour Grace, and on file at the Harbour Grace War Memorial Library.On May 13, 1846, the following Requisition was posted in different parts of the town: We, the undersigned, request a Public Meeting of the Inhabitants of this District, to be held at the Commercial Room, to-morrow, Thursday, the 14th instant, at 11 o'clock, a.m., to take into consideration the propriety of petitioning His Excellency, the Governor on the contemplated dismissal of the Deputy Sheriff, Garland C.
