JOHN W. MATTHEWS. DECEASED.
In the name of God, Amen. I, John W. Matthews, of Grand Bank, in the District of Burin, Dominion of Newfoundland, being of sound and disposing mind, do publish this my last will and testament.
1. I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Matilda M. Matthews, my house, store, land and furniture, situated at Grand Bank, Nfld., I also give, devise and bequeath all monies in Bank of Nova Scotia to my wife, also all other effects: dories, tools, guns, of whatever kind and nature to be sold for the benefit of my wife.
2. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Jessie Cameron Smith Lewis, my meadow and storehouse situated near main Line Road near country Pond. I also give, devise and bequeath to my daughter all monies deposited in Canadian Bank of Commerce at St. Pierre.
I appoint Samuel Patten to be sole executor for my estate I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time made heretofore.
