NL GenWebBonavista Bay Region ~ Bonavista North DistrictGooseberry Island, North Island Tickle - RC CemeteryHere is one list of headstones. There were several more we couldn't read. Gooseberry is divided in to two islands, north and south, divided by a tickle about 100 to 200 ft across. This cemetery is located in the tickle between the North and South Islands (on the North Island). These were close to the edge of the water and easy to find. The list was done by BILL BRODERICK & ROBERT ROYLE on October 9, 1999. While we have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there may be typographical errors. |
