Susannah Easton deceased.
This is the last will and Testament of me Susannah Easton of Musgrave Harbor. 1. I hereby revoke all other wills hitherto by me made. I give devise and bequeath to my grandsons as follows - To Edison and Walter Easton - 1. That piece of land upon which the dwelling house stands including dwelling house, stores stages flakes etc.
- 2. that piece of land on the point, bounded on the East by the Methodist Cemetery on the south by the sea shore on the west by Benjamin Flynn’s property also that piece of land bounded on the south by John Eastons lands
- 3. That piece of land known as the meadow one half of same to be property of Edison and Walter.
- 4 That piece of land known as the Farm, bounded on the east by Albert Elliotts property on the west by John Easton’s on the north by Cornelius Whiteway on the South by Cemetery Road
- 5. That piece of land known as the potato garden bounded on the north and east by the public Road on the south by Mark Goodyears on the west by Samson Eastons.
- 6 That piece of land known as the Brook Garden that portion west of the Brook bounded on the east by the Brook on the north by the public Road on the west by John Eastons.
- 7. That piece of land known as the shore garden bounded on the north by the shore on the west by William Whiteway on the east by John Pinsent all of the said piece of land with the exception of that portion which belongs to John Steal which is bounded by the Public Road and extends to the big rock in the center of the garden.
- 8. Also the property on the Washaws Island including house flake and fishing stage. I also bequeath to my grandson Walter Falk for his personal use but not to be sold to any party or parties but Edison and Walter Easton” that piece of land known as the meadow one half of which is to be his property according to the agreements mentioned above. Also that piece of land on the east side of the Brook known as the Brook garden bounded on the east by Albert Hallett and Edison and Walter Easton’s property on the north by the public road on the west by the Brook on the south by Davis Flynn’s property. I also bequeath to my grandsons Edison and Walter Easton all live stock, horse cow sheep etc. to be their property after my death
I do here appoint Dr. Charles R. Whiteway to be the executor of this my last will and testament. Witness my hand at Musgrave Harbour aforesaid this twenty-first day of August One thousand nine hundred and Sixteen - Susannah her X mark Easton - Signed published and declared by me for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in the presence of the said “J.W.
