In re     MICHAEL WALSH      deceased.

    The last will and testament of Michael Walsh.     In the name of God Amen     I Michael Walsh of Stock Cove in the District of Bonavista in the Island of Newfoundland being of sound and disposing mind do hereby make this my last will and testament-     First- I commend my soul to Almighty God and my body to be interred at the discretion of my friends and relatives.     As to for and concerning whatever of worldly goods property etc I die possessed of I give and bequeath in the following manner I give and bequeath my dwelling house outhouses, and all land adjoining said dwelling with all my personal property and furniture contained in said dwelling house (my wife Elizabeth to have full control over said property while she remains with the children) I give and bequeath to my sons Agustine and John Thomas- the garden known as the “Woods” garden the “Hill” garden the “Point of the garden” and a small meadow on the Bank also my interest in the fishing property consisting of 2 Small Boats one Cod Trap 1 Trap Boat Cod Trap Caplin Seine and all gear pertaining thereto, Two Flakes 1 Store situate on the Beach at Stock Cove, also 1 small flake opposite Matthew Aylward’s dwelling house-
To my sons Agustine and John Thomas I also leave and bequeath to my sons Agustine and John Thomas all my money now held on deposit in the Newfoundland Government Savings Bank To my two sons Agustine and John Thomas with the understanding that said money is to remain intact until the said Agustine attains the age of twenty one and in the event of his death before that time the same arrangement would apply to my son John Thomas and at the age of twenty one the said money is to be equally distributed between both. My daughters Agnes, Anne Francis and Alice Rose ARE to have a Home with my wife and sons until such time as they find Homes for themselves     Signed sealed and delivered on the 14th day of August in the year of our Lord 1913 in the presence of us who have here unto set our names- the same having been first read over and explained And I do hereby appoint Michael Kenefick and my brother Thomas Walsh as my executors. Michael Walsh his X mark Witness Edward Brennan Matthew Aylward Stock Cove August 14 A.D. 1913.
