In re: KEZIAH BLACKMORE. DECEASED

Pinchards Island March 18th 1907
I Keziah Blackmore being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament as follows:

1st I do herewith give and bequeath to my beloved husband Hedley Blackmore ($50.00) fifty dollars the same to be taken from the amount of ($600.00) Six hundred dollars which amount I have deposited to my credit bearing interest in the Bank of Montreal St. John's

2nd I do herewith give and bequeath to my Eldest son Benjamin Joseph Blackmore $(137.50) one hundred and thirty seven dollars and fifty cents, the same to be taken from the $(600.00) six hundred to my credit at the before named bank.

3rd I do herewith give and bequeath to my second Eldest son, Harlan Blackmore ($137.50) one hundred and thirty seven dollars and fifty cents. The same to be taken from the before named amount to my credit in the above named bank.

4th I do herewith give and bequeath to my 3rd eldest child Mary Jane Barbour Blackmore ($137.50) one hundred and thirty seven and fifty cents the same to come from the source as before named.

5th I do herewith give and bequeath to my 4th Eldest child Martha Blackmore ($137.50) one hundred and thirty seven dollars and fifty cents the same to be taken from the before named sum viz. $600.00 in aforesaid bank.

I do hereby appoint my husband Hedley Blackmore and my brother, Samuel Barbour, to be sole Executors of this my last will and testament Should there be interest to my credit on the $600.00 in the Bank before named the same shall be divided equally between my four children Signed Keziah her X mark Blackmore Her mark witnessed by Pinchards Island March 18th 1907.
