The last will and testament of Jacob White, late of Loo. Cove Bonavista Bay, Planter deceased.

This is the last will and testament of me Jacob White of Loo Cove near Greenspond Planter deceased

1. I give to my three sons Noah, Jacob, and Edgar the sum of seven hundred dollars in equal shares between them

2. All money in the hands of Bowring Brothers Limited (with the exception of sufficient to bury me decently) I give to my two sons Henry and Baxter in equal shares

3. I give devise and bequeath the big house together with the household goods and furniture therein to my wife Louisa White and to my two sons Edgar and Garland in equal shares and I direct that my said wife shall have the right to live in said house during her natural life

4. The other house I bequeath to my son Henry for ever

5. The house on the point I bequeath to my son Baxter for ever

6. I bequeath my fishing room stage store and flakes, to all my sons (except Baxter) in equal shares

7. I direct that my boat and trap shall be sold and that my son Henry shall have the first chance to purchase same. The purchase money shall be divided equally between my sons Noah and Jacob

8. I direct that my tools spyglass ???kpot and other utensils shall be equally and amicably divided among all my sons

9. I give to my wife Louisa White my life insurance of $1000.00 and desire that she shall pay to my father $10.00 and to my sisters Sarah and Esther $5.00 each

10. I give my watch to my son Edgar

11. Anything not hereinbefore disposed of I give to my wife and I appoint my wife sole executrix of this my will
