| In re HENRY MILES DECEASED
I, Henry Miles of Open Hall in Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland being of sound mind and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore at any time by me made. I hereby appoint Samuel Aylmer Dawson, Clerk in Holy Orders, to be executor of my will. I hereby direct my said executor to pay all funeral and testamentary expenses, and that a suitable memorial stone be erected over my grave of about (100) one hundred dollars, or less. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter in law Sarah Miles now of St. John’s the amount of four hundred dollars (400). I give devise and bequeath to my adopted daughter Mary Kate Quinton the amount of two hundred dollars (200). I hereby give devise and bequeath to my wife Catherine all the rest and residue of my possessions whether real or personal absolutely during her lifetime and after her decease I hereby direct that the estate real and personal be given to my adopted daughter Mary Kate Quinton absolutely. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 24th day of May 1921. One thousand nine hundred and twenty one. HENRY MILES.
