Will of Benjamin Steed

In re: BENJAMIN STEED SR. DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of me Benjamin Steed, Senior, of Musgrave Town, in the District of Bonavista Bay, hereby revoking all former and other wills by me at any time made.

First. I give and bequeath to my son Samson all my property situate at Elliston, in the District of Trinity Bay, at present in his possession.

Second. I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin, on condition that he shall maintain and support my wife Elizabeth during her natural life, all that land and premises situate at Musgrave Town aforesaid, at present in my possession, and all the rest residue and remainder of the property of which I shall died possessed.

Third. I appoint Albert L. Howe of Brooklyn, Bonavista Bay, and my said son Benjamin Executors of this my will. Dated at Musgrave Town aforesaid this 16 day of Dec Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and five Benjamin his X mark Steed Signed published and declared by the said Benjamin Steed Senior, as and for his last will and Testament in our presence, who in his presence, at his request and in the presence of each other subscribe our names as witnesses hereto. (the same having been first read over and explained to the said Benjamin Steed, Senior.) Samuel French Robert Reader
