Transcriber’s Note: The will index gives the probate year, for this will, as 1880, but it is filed chronologically with wills from 1886.

In re
Ann E. Burry deceased. The last will and testament of Ann Elizabeth Burry of Greenspond I Ann Elizabeth Burry considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made     I give and devise to my son Eli Allen all my right title and interest in the messuage and premises at Greenspond in which I now reside with my said son Eli Allen to have and to hold to my said son Eli Allen his heirs and assigns for ever.     I also give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my property and estate whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature, ind and quality soever, unto my said son Eli Allan his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns for ever, and lastly I appoint my son Eli Allan and my husband Thomas Burry executors of this my last will and testament.     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the sixteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.     Ann Elizabeth her X mark Burry (LS)     The above instrument of one sheet was now here subscribed by Ann Elizabeth Burry the testator in the presence of each of us and was at the same time declared by her to be her last will and testament and we at her request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses John Macdonald M.D.     R.
