IN RE: ABNER KNEE. DECEASED
This is the last will and Testament of Abner Knee of Badgers Quay in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland. I Abner Knee being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do hereby will devise and bequeath as follows:-
To my father Job Knee in trust for my two children Willie Job and Merida Pearl Barbour the life insurance that I carry on my life to the amount of one thousand dollars ($1000) also my dwelling house furniture lands and every thing else that I may die possessed of - share and share alike. Should either of my children die before they arrive at the age of 21 years then his or her share of the above Estate shall go and belong to the remaining child. Should both of my children die before they arrive at the age of 21 years then whatever moneys lands etc may be remaining of my estate shall go and belong to my father Job Knee. I hereby constitute and appoint my father Job Knee the sole Guardian of my children as well as the Executor of this my last will and testament and do hereby revoke all former distributions of my property at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Badgers Quay, in the Island aforesaid on this seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight x Abner Knee Signed by the said Abner Knee the Testator in the presence of us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribed our names as witnesses George Gillingham Peter House
