Will of George Barnett Pritchett

I George Barnett Pritchett, of Middle Brook, Gambo, in the Electoral District of Bonavista Bay, being of sound mind and understanding, do make this my last Will and Testament.First. I give my soul to God, whensoever it shall please him in His Gracious Mercy to call me, and my body to be buried in the cemetery at Middle Brook, looking to a glorious resurrection. Second. I give, devise and bequeath all my lands, tenements and all my household furniture, ready money goods and chattels and all other parts of my real and personal estate and effects, whatsoever and wheresoever, unto my wife Rachel Pritchett, her heirs, administrators and assigns to and for her and their absolute use and benefit according to the nature and quality there of respectively, subject only to the payment of my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, and to the charge of proving and registering this my will. And I appoint my said wife Executor of this my Will, and I hereby revoke all other wills. In witness whereof. I hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of January in the year of our Saviour One thousand nine hundred and seventeen. George Barnett Pritchett.
