Catherine Keough deceased


I, Catherine Keough, of Bonavista, in the Dominion of Newfoundland, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament, revoking any previous Will or Testament made by me,


[1]. I hereby appoint my cousin, John J. Keough, to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament, directing him to pay all my just and lawful debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.


[2]. After the payment of my just and lawful debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, I give devise and bequeath the sum of two hundred dollars [$200.00] for low Masses for my soul.


[3]. The residue of my estate, I bequeath to my friend, Mrs. Mary House, wife of William House of George, provided that I am living with her at the time of my death, to be her own property absolutely.


[4]. In the event of my leaving Mrs. Mary House's home to take up residence elsewhere, should my said cousin John J. Keough be living at the time of my decease, then I direct that the residue of my estate, shall be his own property absolutely.In witness whereof I have set my hand this thirteenth day of September, A.D. one thousand nine hundred and nineteen. Katherine her X mark Keough. Signed, published and declared, by the said Testatrix, as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, both present at the same time, and in her presence, at her request, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution thereof.
