IN RE: WINIFRED MAHON. DECEASED Will
THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Mrs. Winifred J. Mahon, (Widow), of the City of St. John's, in the Island of Newfoundland.
I hereby appoint Rev. P. J. Kennedy, Executor of this my Will.
I bequeath my house, No. 61 Harvey Road, and all my personal effects to my sister Alice Burke until her death.
After my death the person who will look after my sister Alice while she is alive, may live in my house rent free, by paying ground rent, insurances, other taxes, and keeping it in repair.
After the death of my sister Alice, my house and personal effects are to be sold, for a reasonable amount, out of which money all funeral expenses and debts are to be paid.
I bequeath Fifty Dollars each for Masses for the repose of the souls of my husband, father and mother, my three sisters Alice and Sadie Burke, and Mary Anne Mckern, and my brother John Burke, and One Hundred Dollars for Masses for the repose of my own soul.
I bequeath to Rev. Frank Ryan, the Mahogany Clock.
To the Church of St. Joseph's Parish, the picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
To Annie A. Morris, R.N. the oval picture of His Grace Archbishop Roche.
The residue is then to be divided equally among Rev. T. J. Gough, P.P. Portugal Cove, Mary and Richard Tremblett, and whoever has cared for my sister Alice since my death.
