In re William George Rankin deceased. I William George Rankin of Saint John’s Newfoundland, Draper, do hereby make my last will and testament absolutely revoking all other wills by me made at any time whatsoever and declaring the same to be null and void, I hereby give and bequeath all the lands and tenements situate in the town of Saint John’s and vicinity thereof bequeathed to me by my late father together with all other property goods and chattels of which at my decease I may be possessed to my brother Richard T. Rankin for his sole use and benefit. I request and appoint Stephen Rendell Merchant and John Bemister Acting Receiver General of Saint John’s to be the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal and do declare this to be my last will and testament this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two- W.G.
