Will of William Mead

In re: WILLIAM MEAD DECEASED.

This is the last will & testament of me William Mead, Soldier, of St. John's Newfoundland, being of sound mind.

I devise & give to my brother and sisters, John Mead of Sil Cove, Fortune Bay, Mrs. Thomas Marke of Gros, Hermitage Bay, and Mrs. W. King of Pushthrough, Hermitage Bay all my money placed to my account in the Bank of Montreal at St. John's, share and share alike.

I appoint the Revd. A. Clayton of St. John's sole executor of this my last will & testament. William his X mark Mead

The testator's mark made in the joint presence of us who thereupon signed our names in his presence & in the presence of each other, the will having been first read over to the testator who appeared fully to understand. John Moxley. Norris Point, Bonne Bay. John J. Peddle 5 Haggerty Street St. John's. October 7th 1920.
