Will of William Langmead

In re WILLIAM LANGMEAD. DECEASED.

This is the last will and Testament of me William Langmead of Pouch Cove made this the 18th day of June one thousand nine hundred and four. I give bequeath and devise all my present land, two cows, all my sheep, my money, house as it stands to my beloved wife Rebecca Langmead, except the cabbage garden which is to stand divided between her and my son Henry Langmead The half of my flake and stage room I also give and bequeath to my son said Henry, the remainder to my said wife Rebecca which with the above mentioned are to be for her own absolute use and benefit according to the nature and quality thereof respectively, and which can at her own will be disposed of to her heir and successor. All this I give subject only to the payment of funeral expenses and the charges of proving and registering this my will and hereby I revoke all other wills and I appoint my said wife executrix of this my will

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and sign this day and year above written (signed) William his X mark Langmead.

Signed sealed and acknowledged by the said William Langmead as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as written attesting witnesses
