Will of William Hiscock

In re: WILLIAM HISCOCK. DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me William Hiscock, Farmer, of Chamberlains Conception Bay, Newfoundland.
I give and bequeath to my son Amos Hiscock 15 acres of land, more or less, bounded as follows, by the Main Road about twenty feet in extent on the West by Neill’s Line on the North, by Sergeant Squires land on the East, and the Railway Line on the South. My piece of land on the Rocky Road I give to my two sons Amos and William to be equally divided between them. I give ten acres of the land that I hold in the Big Marsh to my said son Amos, and the timber thereon is to be equally divided between him and my said son William Hiscock. All the remainder of my land I give and bequeath to my said son William Hiscock for his own use and benefit. My dwelling House, household furniture stable and all other outhouses I give to my said son William Hiscock, I also give to him one head of horned cattle, my young horse, farm implements and wheeled carts for his own use and benefit and I appoint my said son William Hiscock Executor of this my will.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this fourteenth day of June One thousand nine hundred and twenty three.
