Hennebury on the 25th day of August A.D. 1941; 1941 Value of Estate $ 1820.00 Sureties A. H. Barnes and N? C? Hally? Vol 10 Folio 153 Page 2 To the Honourable the Supreme Court of Newfoundland or to one of the honourable the Judges thereof. The Petition of Richard A. Hennebury of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, clerk, humbly sheweth: 1. That William Hennebury of St. John’s aforesaid, farmer deceased, died at St. John’s aforesaid on the 26th day of February A.D. 1941, intestate. 2. Said deceased left him surviving two daughters, Mrs. Victoria Osborne of St. John’s aforesaid and Mrs. Jean Greene residing at Brooklyn, New York in the United States of America and two sons: Thomas, and your petitioner. 3. Said deceased at the time of his death was possessed of property within the jurisdiction of your Honourable Court of the probable value of $1820.00 4. The inventory and valuation hereto annexed marked “A” is to the best of petitioners knowledge and belief a just and true inventory and valuation of the property estate and effects of the estate of said deceased at the time of his death as far as the petitioner can at present ascertain. 5. No probate of any will nor Letters of Administration of the estate of said deceased have been granted to any person. Petitioner therefore prays the Letters of Administration of the Estate of said deceased may be granted to him. And as in duty bound he will ever pray etc. Dated the 14th day of August A.D. 1941.
