TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES:  This is the petition by Mary nee Mallard for her husband William. They were married in the Anglican Cathedral in St. John's October 30, 1819

Marriage Entry ( http://nl.canadagenweb.org/as_vistat45.htm )  reads as follows:

William HENNEBURY, bach, Quidi Vidi
"Spinster" MALLARD, ("Mary" added), spin, Quidi Vidi
Witnesses: John Mallard and Thomas Tucker

Mary notes that her husband died on or about the 9th day of August instant.  As she gives no year and the administration was granted in March 1860, researchers may think he died in 1859.  However, William died in 1857.
