IN RE: WILLIAM CARLSON. DECEASED
This is the last will and testament of me, William Carlson, made by me on this the 21st day of March A.D. 1926. I revoke all former wills made by me. I bequeath all my money which I may have at the time of my death to my wife, Annie Carlson, with the wish that, if any be left at her death it is to be divided between my son Victor and my daughter Mrs. Ida Taylor, with the view that my daughter is to get one hundred dollars in such division more than my son. I bequeath all my furniture, goods and chattels and all property whatsoever I possess to my wife for her life with the sole exception after that my son Victor retains possession of the Store known as Number Twelve Brazil Square for the space of five years from my death. After my wife's death the property and furniture is to be divided as follows:-
To my daughter, Mrs. Ida Taylor my house No. 10 Brazil Square my three storey house, Pleasant Street, & my double tenement house on Casey Street. To my son Victor my house Number 13 Brazil Square with furniture at present therein, my two storey house on Pleasant Street, my two house on John Street and my bungalow at the Goulds with furniture therein, and tools & farming utensils thereon. I appoint my wife Annie Carlson and Frederick Bursell of St. John's Undertaker, executrix and executor respectively of this my will. WILLIAM his X mark CARLSON.
Signed Published and Declared by the testator as and for his last will in presence of us (by making his mark, it having been first read over and explained to him in our presence) who in his presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses.
