In re WILLIAM BROTHERS. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen April 12th 1867 I William Brothers of Fermeuse in the Southern District of the Island of Newfoundland lying sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to the giver unto the almithy God therefore galling unto mind the mortallithy of my boddy and knowing thath it is appointed for all men to die do make and ordain this my last will and testimony thath is to say principally and firs of all i give and recommend my soul unto the hands of the almithy god thath giveth and my boddy i recommend to the earth to be beruied decent Christian buriall And tuching such wordly estate wherewith it pleased god to me in this life i give and demise unto my three boys all my fishing room I now occupuy with all my plantation and dwelling house and ground abouthith I held in my possesstionIn witness I have set my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned signed sealed and delivered in the pressants of us, William his X mark Brothers (LS) John O’Neill, Henry O’Neill.
