Will of William Brace

In re WILLIAM BRACE. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. I William Brace, Planter of Quidi Vidi in the Island of Newfoundland do by this my last will and testament devise and bequeath to my two sons William Brace and John Brace all my property situated in Quidi Vidi now in my possession or to which I may be entitled at the time of my decease to be held by them and their heirs for ever and not to be sold out of the family I also nominate and appoint the said William Brace and John Brace my sole executors In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelvth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty nine

William his X mark Brace (LS) Signed sealed and delivered as his last will and testament of the above named William Brace in the presence of Edward Humphry William Heale.
