In re: MICHAEL M. BEARNS. DECEASED.
This is the last will and testament of me William M. Bearns of St. John’s Newfoundland gentleman and I hereby revoke all former wills by me made.
I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth that house in which I now live (No. 128) situate on the north side of Military Road St. John’s and the land whereon the same stands and the land appurtenant in rear of said house, also the right to use in common with the occupants of adjoining premises on the west that passage way which leads from Military Road by the east side of the said house.
I also bequeath to my said wife all the furniture of what kind soever in or belonging to the said house. I also bequeath to her those two pieces of land containing between one and two acres in all lying one on the east and the other on the west side of the Sand Pits Road which are at present occupied by Thomas Bearns Senior as tenant - and I hereby appoint George M. Johnson of St. John’s Solicitor executor of this my will
Dated at St. John’s this fourth day of August A.D. 1900 Wm M. Bearns signed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament on the date above written in presence of us the subscribers who in his presence and in that of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as such witnesses Geo. M. Johnson Thomas Bearns.
